Process

We at FACS are honored to be considered in your family’s choice of a partner in Christian Education.

With more than 90 percent retention as well as new applications, some grade levels are already closed for the 2008-2009 school year. We are, however, accepting applicants for our waiting pool for all grades.

Those applying for enrollment complete the steps below:

  • Request an enrollment packet.
  • Submit your completed application (mail or return to office) along with required health and academic records, as outlined in the enrollment packet. Students applying for admittance in grades 7-12 also must provide a brief Christian testimony.
  • Provide recommendation forms (from the enrollment packet) to your child’s pastor (grades 1-12), one of your child’s teachers (grades 1-12), and your child’s guidance counselor (grades 7-12), to be returned by the recipient directly to FACS.
  • Complete the entrance testing process. All new Sr K students are tested. Other students are tested at the direction of FACS administrators. Once you have submitted your application, you will be contacted regarding testing.
  • Complete the interview process (grades 7-12) as scheduled by the Director of Admissions.
  • Receive notification. Each student meeting established guidelines will be notified of acceptance for admission. Parents/guardians of any student rejected for admission will receive oral or written notification.
  • Finalize enrollment by signing a record release allowing the school to obtain the student’s permanent records (grades 1-12), a school contract (grades 1-12), and a random drug testing consent form (grades 7-12), and by providing non-refundable registration, book/supply fees and the first month’s tuition. Students in grades 9-12 also will schedule an appointment with the Director of Guidance to select a course of study. Those students wishing to take part in the EXTRA Resource program (grades 5-12) also submit a psychological evaluation, which is kept confidential, as part of finalizing enrollment.
