School-Sponsored Athletics
Don't miss the elementary gridiron action, as the school officially sponsors a fifth and sixth grade football team and a fifth and sixth grade cheerleading squad. Coaches are Robert Downing, football; Scott McClain, cheerleading.
IMPORTANT: Rising fifth and sixth graders for 2009-2010 who may desire to play football must have an athletic physical on file with FACS. Campbell's Clinic will conduct physicals in the new varsity gym at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 16. The cost is $25.
Please download the TSSAA Physical Exam Questionnaire, complete it, and take it with you to the exam.
You must also have on file permission to treat students in case of emergency. Please download the Emergency Treatment Consent Form, complete it, and turn it into the office.
If you prefer to have your own physician perform an exam, please download the physician exam form, have your physician complete the form, and turn the form into the FACS school office.

Church League Opportunities
In addition to school-sponsored teams, many FACS students participate in church league, recreational league, or competitive sports programs in the Memphis area.
Because our students enjoy playing on teams together, many FACS elementary students participate in church-league flag football, soccer, basketball or baseball/softball/T-Ball through First Assembly of God church. Most practices are held on campus; games take place at various Memphis-area churches.

Other Elementary Athletics
From time to time, FACS parents may organize independent recreational or competitive elementary teams that are not officially connected to the school but have rosters made up primarily of FACS students and may utilize the Crusader name.
