FACS offers an after-school care program each day from dismissal time until 6 p.m. as a service to parents who are unable to pick their children up at 3 p.m.
The program serves students from junior kindergarten through sixth grade. Secondary students (grades 7-12) are not allowed on campus after school unless they are participating in school- or church-sponsored activities.
Parents of all FACS elementary students are required to register with after-school care whether or not they will be using the program. This allows our after-school care providers to keep student information on file in the event a parent is unexpectedly unavailable to pick a child up after school. In that event, the student is placed in after-school care until the parent arrives.
After-school care is not available on half-days, teacher in-service days or school holidays.
