Spain Memorial Golf Classic Success
The annual golf tournament supports the 30+ athletic offerings for students at First Assembly Christian School, from grades 5-12.
The game of basketball affords growing student-athletes to not only develop their athletic skills but learn to work together to advance in a sport that requires a strong work ethic, trust, discipline and accountability with one another. FACS offers basketball for female student-athletes as early as elementary school.
The girls' basketball program is led by Head Coach, Jeremy Moore, who is a tenured coach and teacher. He is also certified in fitness and weight training, which helps to develop the physicality of young athletes in a safe and sustainable way, preventing injuries. Alongside Coach Moore is a coaching staff that reaches all the way into the elementary program. Coach Moore also works with other sports.
Along with an established varsity team, which abides by TSSAA rules and regulations, athletic programming is available as early as fifth grade for students to begin learning the fundamentals. Coaches, who volunteer many hours of their time, are also passionate about instilling a love and understanding for the sport. Recreation league is also available for our youngest student-athletes.
