High school students may participate in golf, cross country, girls' soccer, football, or volleyball in the fall, basketball during the winter, and boys' soccer, baseball or softball during the spring. Junior varsity teams are available for volleyball, football, cross country, basketball and baseball. Cheerleaders try out in the spring and are active throughout the football and basketball seasons.

High school teams compete in Division II  of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association. Additional games outside of the TSSAA league are scheduled by individual coaches working with Athletic Director Philip Spain.

High school varsity head coaches are: Don Purvis, football; Judy Bramlett, volleyball and softball; D. Wilkes, boys' basketball; Philip Spain, golf; Ricky McCoy, girls' basketball; Cory Concus, baseball; and Dana Wilson, cheerleading.

FACS emphasizes skill and character development and team building in keeping with an overarching goal to encourage students to glorify Christ on and off the field.

PHYSICALS

Student athletes must have a physical on file with FACS. Once you have scheduled an exam for your student, please download (and complete) the TSSAA Physical Exam Questionnaire, and the the physician exam form and take these documents with you to the exam. You must also have on file permission to treat students in case of emergency. Please download the Emergency Treatment Consent Form, complete it, and turn it into the office.
